James H. “Jim” Fisher II is a Partner in HBS Atlanta office, and he chairs the Construction Practice Group and Property/SIU Practice Group.
A native of Georgia, Jim has a statewide practice devoted to litigation, arbitration, regulation, and issues arising from the interrelated areas of construction, transportation and insurance.
Whether it is a catastrophic injury, complex insurance coverage issue, construction dispute or transportation incident, Jim has tried and mediated such cases in state and federal courts for more than 40 years.
Jim is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and was named to the ALM and Martindale-Hubbell Top Rated Lawyers in Construction Law and a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia, American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. He frequently speaks on issues related to litigation and arbitration in construction and insurance law.
Jim received a Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law in 1976, and also completed his undergraduate studies at Emory.
