Ms. James is a partner in the Atlanta office. After receiving her Bachelors Degree, cum laude, in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia, Ms. James then graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, with her J.D. While in law school, she was an active member of the University of Georgia Moot Court Team, a semi-finalist in the Intrastate Moot Court competition, and a quarter-finalist in the Russell Moot Court competition. In addition, she was on the editorial board and a notes editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and a pupil in the Chattahoochee Inn of Court.

In 2014, Ms. James was selected for the Southern Region Lawyers of Color Hot List.  In 2015, Ms. James was listed as one of Georgia’s Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers.  She was also selected as a Rising Star in 2017 and 2018.
