Kelsey Kicklighter is an Associate in our office in Atlanta, and she focuses her practice on aging services, medical malpractice, products liability, government liability, business litigation and international business matters. She also handles matters for clients all the way through the appeals process.

Earlier in her career, Kelsey worked at a firm in Brunswick, Georgia, and she was previously a law clerk for a medical malpractice attorney in Macon, Georgia. Additionally, she spent time as a research intern for statutory law on bankruptcy issues, and she was a counseling intern at the Center for Behavioral Medicine at Memorial University Medical Center.

Kelsey holds a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Mercer University, where she was the Senior Managing Editor of the Mercer Law Review and a student editor for the Journal of Southern Legal History. She was also a Mercer-Oxford Human Rights Scholar, received a CALI Award for the Oxford Human Rights Course, and was given the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing. She was Brief Captain for the Jessup Moot Court Team, a student member of the William A. Bootle American Inn of Court, and a student member of the W. Homer Drake, Jr., Georgia Bankruptcy Inn of Court.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in psychology from Mercer University, where she minored in English and philosophy. During college, Kelsey was on the Phi Mu Fraternity executive board as the Director of Harm Reduction and Prevention and the Social Chairman. She was also the Treasurer of Psi Chi-International Honor Society in psychology, the treasurer of the Panhellenic Council, and a member of the Student Judicial Council.
