Libba Kuhlmann
Biography
Sandra “Libba” Kuhlmann is an associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C., and she focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense.
Before joining HBS, Libba worked at a local firm, where she represented insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators in complex workers’ compensation claims. She conducted depositions, negotiated settlements, and provided clients with comprehensive case evaluations and risk analysis.
During law school, she served as a summer associate at a family law firm and also worked in the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office. There, she supported attorneys with juvenile court proceedings and assisted with trial preparation. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for her litigation skills and client-focused advocacy.
Libba earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. While in law school, she was a peer mentor, a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic, and a student member of the William A. Bootle American Inn of Court. She earned a B.B.A. in Economics with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia.
