Lucie Peoples
Biography
Lucie Peoples is a partner in our Asheville office, where she practices in aging services and health care law.
Prior to joining HBS, Lucie worked as a partner for a civil litigation firm, where she practiced general liability and commercial litigation with an emphasis on defending personal injury torts, professional liability, premises liability, products liability, and coverage litigation. She also previously served as a law clerk with the Honorable C. Ashley Royal for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Lucie earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University and her Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University. As a true Asheville native, Lucie enjoys sharing her beloved hometown with her husband, Adam, and their two daughters. When she is not in the office, Lucie can be found hiking, swimming, reading, and spending time with her family.
