Matthew J. Koster
Biography
Matthew J. Koster is a Partner in our New York City office. He focuses his practice on representing employers in labor and employment matters, medical malpractice, professional malpractice and ethics, premises liability, labor law and industrial code violations, property damage, breach of contract, general liability cases, and insurance coverage disputes.
Clients routinely engage Matthew for training and prevention seminars on best workplace practices.
Prior to joining HBS, Matthew was Partner at a local insurance defense firm where he specialized in labor and employment, construction, professional malpractice, and premises liability matters. He also worked at a national law firm where he handled labor and employment, E&O liability, construction, and premises liability matters.
Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons.
