Michael P. Tonge
Biography
Michael Tonge is an Associate in our Paramus office, where he practices in medical malpractice and general liability matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Michael clerked for the Honorable Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C. (Ret.) and, upon his retirement, the Honorable Rudolph A. Filko, A.J.S.C. with the New Jersey Courts, Passaic Vicinage. He interned for late Assemblyman Herman Daniel “Denny” Farrell Jr., former Chairman of the New York State Assembly’s Ways and Means Committee, where he was nominated for the Internship Committee Chairman’s Award. He also was a paralegal for a local firm, where he gained valuable experience in medical malpractice matters.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, where he was an associate staff editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. He was also a member of the Rutgers Law Minority Student Program. He earned his Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Stony Brook University.
