Paul Trainor is a partner in the Atlanta office. He primarily concentrates his trial litigation practice in the areas of medical malpractice, transportation, premises liability and negligent security.
Paul has defended a variety of medical professionals, hospitals, apartment complexes and property management companies, international hotels and trucking companies, as well as their respective and respected employees. The majority of his current practice is dedicated to the defense of catastrophic injury claims, and he has defended cases in six states across the country. Paul has also handled numerous cases through the appellate process in both the Georgia and South Carolina appellate courts, including an appeal involving a matter of first impression in Nestler v. Fields, 426 S.C. 34, 824 S.E.2d 461 (2019).
Paul graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and graduated magna cum laude the Charleston School of Law. During law school, he was the SBA Executive Commissioner of Student Affairs, editorial board member of the Charleston Law review, served on the Orientation Committee and Consistency Committee, and was the Secretary of the Students Grant Board. Paul was a four-time recipient of the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award.
