HBS Adds Of Counsel Andrew A. Murdison & Attorney Jordan Bell to Growing Augusta Office
Hall Booth Smith is proud to welcome Of Counsel Andrew A. Murdison and Attorney Jordan Taylor Bell as it looks to grow its Augusta office.
About the Attorneys
Andrew A. Murdison
Andrew focuses on business litigation, general liability, and medical malpractice matters. Prior to joining HBS, he had his own firm where his practice consisted of civil litigation, business advising and corporate work, and family law. During this time, he also served as a special assistant attorney general representing the Departments of Family and Children Services in Richmond, Burke, and Columbia Counties as well as a part-time assistant solicitor general, prosecuting misdemeanor offenses in the State Court of Richmond County.
Before establishing his firm, Andrew worked as a partner with a local firm, where he managed and assisted with a variety of civil litigation matters in the areas of medical malpractice, compliance and board investigations, business litigation, and insurance defense. He began his legal career as an associate practicing general civil defense, medical malpractice defense, business litigation, healthcare regulatory defense, and advising. Andrew also assisted in the defense of a major railroad, in which he litigated a multi-year federal case brought under the Clean Water Act and drafted numerous successful motions, including a motion for summary judgment that was granted.
Jordan Taylor Bell
Jordan focuses his practice on business litigation, construction, general liability, and government affairs matters. Prior to joining HBS, he worked for a civil litigation firm where he represented contractors, subcontractors, financial institutions, disaster recovery specialists, and businesses in a wide range of disputes including construction defect, errors and omissions, and employment disputes. He also previously served as a clerk for the Honorable John Ellington with the Supreme Court of Georgia.
“Andrew and Jordan are wonderful additions to our team and we are excited to get the opportunity to further serve the Augusta area,” said Robin Daitch, managing partner of the Augusta office.
