Hall Booth Smith Adds Stewart G. Milch as Of Counsel in New York City Office
NEW YORK, NY – January 6, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to welcome experienced attorney Stewart G. Milch as Of Counsel to its growing office in New York City.
For almost 30 years Stewart has concentrated his practice on appeals to safeguard hard-fought victories and overturn unfavorable outcomes in lower courts. He has briefed and argued more than 100 appeals in New York, New Jersey, Texas, California and several federal circuit courts, and countless critical, high-stakes motions in trial courts for clients ranging from individuals to major international corporations.
In addition to his appellate practice, Stewart has nearly 30 years of legal experience representing clients in hundreds of cases in federal and state courts in New York, Texas, and other states. He protects the rights of clients in complex and high-exposure cases, including trucking and motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, premises liability, products liability and other risky cases. He also focuses his practice on professional liability, directors and officers liability, insurance brokerage claims disputes, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, tortious interference with business relationships and a wide range of other commercial and business litigation.
Stewart earned a J.D. from New York Law School, and a B.A. in political science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. He has also worked as an adjunct professor of legal writing at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law.
“Stewart brings impressive trial experience and knowledge in many areas of insurance defense,” said Drew Graham, a Partner who oversees the New York office of Hall Booth Smith. “We are excited to have him join our New York team as we defend the rights of our clients in these complex cases.”
