Hall Booth Smith Adds Three Associates as Tennessee Offices Expand
MEMPHIS AND NASHVILLE, TN – October 4, 2021 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to welcome three new Associates in Tennessee as its offices in Memphis and Nashville expand.
Carolina Martin is based in Nashville with nearly a decade of legal experience. She represents clients in workers’ compensation disputes, labor and employment, immigration, transportation, premises liability, insurance coverage and other commercial litigation. She also mediates claims and negotiates settlements, and represents clients through the appellate process. Earlier in her career, Carolina practiced at other firms in Nashville where she handled numerous cases from inception to conclusion in both state and federal courts and developed legal strategies to bring claims to closure while minimizing exposure for her clients.
Carolina earned a J.D. from Pace University School of Law, and she was a visiting student at Vanderbilt University School of Law during her final year of law school. She also completed a B.A. at the State University of New York’s Purchase College.
Nelson T. Rainey is based in Memphis and he focuses his practice on medical malpractice, health care and professional malpractice and ethics litigation. He also counsels clients in construction, premises liability, real estate, business transactions, corporate and partnership, contracts and other matters. Nelson protects the rights of clients in general liability disputes and represents them through the appellate process. He also has an active practice in family law and domestic relations matters as well as in real property disputes. Earlier in his career, Nelson spent several years at other law firms in Memphis. He is also a Veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of the U.S. Army Sniper School, and in that capacity he was deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Nelson earned a J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He also completed a B.A. at the University of Mississippi.
Roxana “Roxy” Rudolph is based in Memphis and she focuses her practice on complex business litigation, including medical malpractice defense, aging services, insurance coverage, general liability, premises liability and professional malpractice and ethics. She has extensive experience in First Amendment and defamation claims, and financial services litigation. Prior to joining HBS, she worked at other firms in the Memphis area, where she litigated numerous proceedings in both state and federal courts including injunctions, dispositive motions, discovery, mediation and arbitration, trial, post-trial and appeals. Earlier in her career, she served as an administrative law clerk for the Hon. Camille R. McMullen in the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, and she was a judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Diane Vescovo of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and a legal research assistant for the Hon. Vicki Cobb Daniels of Mississippi Chancery Court.
Roxy earned a J.D. with honors and a Health Law Certificate from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She also completed a B.A., summa cum laude, at the University of Tennessee.
