Hall Booth Smith Announces New Members of the Firm’s Partnership

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce the election of two new partners, William Gordon from the Atlanta office and Jennifer Dorminey Herzog from the Tifton office.
“We are delighted to welcome our new partners, ” said Alex Booth, managing partner of HBS. “They bring valuable experience and total dedication to our client projects. They will help us to continue expanding our practice both regionally and nationally.”
William Gordon specializes in Professional Negligence, Medical Malpractice and Premises Liability. He is a member of the Professional Negligence and Premises Liability practice groups. Mr. Gordon regularly represents hospitals, physicians, nurses and other medical staff involving a broad scope of areas and claims including birth trauma, emergency medicine, catastrophic injury and wrongful death.  He also represents apartment complexes and property management companies in premises liability related claims, including wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama in 1999, and his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2004. Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice in Alabama and Georgia.
Jennifer Dorminey Herzog focuses her practice in the area of Government Liability and is regularly called upon to address a variety of issues impacting county government. She currently serves as County Attorney for Berrien County and as Assistant County Attorney for Coffee County, Tift County, and Ware County.  Over the past 10 years, Jennifer has also represented small businesses with employment and contract issues, individuals involved in auto accidents, and individuals and entities involved in general liability matters.  Jennifer is trained in general mediation, domestic mediation, arbitration, and is a registered mediator in Georgia.  She maintains an active mediation practice in Tift County and surrounding areas.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Presbyterian College in 2003 with a double major in English and Religion/Philosophy. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law. During her time at UGA, Jennifer was a member of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law wherein she received the Notes Editor of the Year Award for 2005-2006.  Jennifer has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Under 40 in the Tifton Scene magazine and has been AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
