Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Associates Fuerst and Johnson in Charleston
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Dec. 6, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. welcomes associates Daniel Fuerst and Connor E. Johnson to its office in Charleston, South Carolina, as the firm deepens its liability, medical malpractice, insurance and appellate services.
Fuerst focuses his practice on general liability, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage and professional malpractice matters, and he also represents clients in appeals. Earlier in his career, he clerked for the Honorable C. Weston Houck, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina, and the Honorable R. Bryan Harwell, Chief U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina. Fuerst earned a J.D., cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the College of Charleston. He also studied at the Université de La Rochelle in France, where he received a Diplôme Universitaire d’Etudes Françaises.
Johnson concentrates his practice on a wide variety of construction, general liability, and products liability matters. He previously practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Columbia, South Carolina, where specialized in insurance defense and handled numerous lawsuits to completion. He earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was Research Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. He also completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Carolina.
