Atlanta, GA – Hall Booth Smith welcomes Matt Towery, a lawyer, businessman and successful author, as Of Counsel and Managing Director of National Government Affairs. Matt’s extensive political and government experience includes serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 1992 to 1997, Republican Party nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia in 1990, campaign chairman for U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and chief strategist for a number of national, senatorial, congressional and gubernatorial political campaigns. Before leaving politics in 1997, Matt also served as the first and only Republican to preside over the then-Democratically controlled Georgia House.
Matt will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO of InsiderAdvantage.com, one of the nation’s leading polling and political information companies as well as managing partner of his family’s investment partnership. Matt has served as on-air political analyst for Atlanta’s three most watched network affiliates and is currently with Fox5. He has authored several books including Powerchicks: How Women Will Dominate America which reached number one on Amazon.com. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1987 and is AV rated.
