HBS Jacksonville Welcomes Attorneys Ashleigh M. Brooks & Brittany Love

Attorney Backgrounds
Ashleigh M. Brooks
Ashleigh is an associate who practices in general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters. Prior to joining HBS, she was assistant state attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit and prosecuted crimes ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies. During her time there, she tried over 15 jury trials to verdict. She also worked as an associate with a local business litigation firm and handled insurance defense claims including matters regarding auto accident benefits, bad faith litigation, and workers’ compensation.
Brittany Love
Brittany is an associate who focuses her practice on insurance coverage matters. Prior to joining HBS, she served as part of the in-house litigation team for Farmers Insurance. While there, she wrote and successfully argued a dispositive motion on a reimbursement rounding issue. Before her work with Farmers Insurance, she was an assistant public defender with the Office of the Public Defender for the Fourth Circuit, where she managed over 10 jury trials and argued numerous motions to suppress.
