Seasoned Litigator Michael Hannan Joins HBS as Of Counsel

ATLANTA – Dec. 2, 2019 – Experienced litigator Michael Hannan has joined Hall Booth Smith, P.C. as Of Counsel in its Atlanta headquarters office, bringing decades of trial expertise to benefit clients in health care and beyond.

Hannan has 30 years of legal experience and represents clients in an extensive array of medical malpractice, health care, insurance coverage, business litigation and appellate matters. He has tried more than 20 medical malpractice and insurance cases to verdict, and he has litigated numerous lawsuits about product liability, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) disputes, and other commercial actions including class action cases.

Hannan has been named in Georgia Super Lawyers multiple times, and he has achieved an AV Preeminent rating among peers through Martindale Hubbell. Earlier in his career, Hannan was a partner at other firms in the metropolitan Atlanta area.

While completing a J.D., cum laude, at the University of Georgia School of Law, Hannan served on the Managerial and Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in political science at the University of Georgia.
