Steven P. Bristol (Brunswick, GA) has over 23 years of experience in civil litigation. Steve’s practice areas include appeals, medical malpractice, insurance defense, employment, general liability, governmental liability, products liability, construction and intellectual property.
David Dix (Atlanta, GA) has practiced almost exclusively in workers’ compensation, defending insurers, third-party administrators, self-insureds and employers in all areas of workers’ compensation defense. He has successfully argued cases before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation, as well as appeals before the Appellate Division and various Superior Courts.
Ryan Donihue (Atlanta, GA) focuses his practice on the defense of hospitals, physicians and nurses in birth trauma, catastrophic injury and complex malpractice actions. Additionally, Mr. Donihue represents dental providers, podiatrists, psychologists and other healthcare professions in medical malpractice cases and related issues. Mr. Donihue has lectured on the defense of medical and dental malpractice actions to healthcare professionals, institutions and insurance companies.
Jennifer Eberle (Nashville, TN) is a trial attorney with over 15 years’ experience litigating cases for the defense. She specializes in medical malpractice, and health care liability litigation for health care providers.
Phil Friduss (Atlanta, GA) focuses his practice on the defense of high exposure cases in the areas of governmental liability, correctional health care, appellate advocacy, and labor and employment. Virginia Hall (Tifton, GA) has over twelve years of experience. Ms. Hall's practice areas include motor vehicle liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, real estate, and transactional law.
Byron Lindberg (Nashville, TN) specializes in defending transportation, workers' compensation, professional negligence and general liability matters. He has extensive state and federal trial experience, both bench and jury, and has argued multiple appeals before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Tennessee Supreme Court. Mr. Lindberg is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.
Audra Rizzi (Brunswick, GA) has 15 years of experience handling commercial and complex civil litigation matters, and defending medical malpractice matters, trucking and premise liability matters. In addition, Ms. Rizzi has an active practice handling complex, high asset domestic disputes as well as representing physicians and their medical practices in general matters. Ms. Rizzi is licensed to practice in Georgia, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Ms. Rizzi has been peer rated “AV” with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can receive.
Jeffery Randolph Saxby (Atlanta, GA) has more than 15 years’ court staff and law firm experience, primarily in the areas of complex business litigation, banking and financial services litigation and labor and employment litigation. Bryant Witt (Nashville, TN) has extensive experience in all aspects of the representation of hospitals, physicians, and other health care organizations in handling complex regulatory, compliance and licensing issues. Mr. Witt has substantial experience structuring and negotiating business arrangements for health care entities. He served as co-leader of his former law firm’s health care practice group and is currently serving as co-chair of HBS’ Health Care Practice Group.
Mark Wortham (Atlanta, GA) concentrates on defending hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, premises liability matters and appellate work. For nearly thirty years, he has engaged in a wide variety of litigation including automobile and premises liability, transportation, class action defense, construction defects, products liability, and insurance coverage. He has tried approximately forty cases to verdict and judgment and has argued numerous cases before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
