HBS Hires Larry Cheng as Nashville Office Grows

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Nov. 25, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to welcome Y. Larry Cheng as an Associate in its expanding office in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cheng focuses his practice on a wide variety of matters such as business and commercial litigation, general liability, auto accidents and other transportation lawsuits, premises liability and medical malpractice matters.

Earlier in his career, Cheng was an associate attorney at a civil defense firm in Nashville, where he litigated breach of contract issues, defended clients in negligence claims including premises liability, handled auto accident cases and defended § 1983 lawsuits alleging violations of Civil Rights by state or local officials.

Cheng earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Belmont University College of Law, where he served as the Notes Editor of the Belmont Law Review and worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Cheng also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.
