Attorney M. Shanter Chaparro Honored as 2025 South Carolina Rising Star

HBS is proud to announce Attorney M. Shanter Chaparro has been recognized on the Super Lawyers 2025 South Carolina Rising Stars List for his experience in Construction Litigation matters.

Shanter’s practice focuses on a broad range of business litigation, construction defect, personal injury, product defect, and general liability matters. His knowledge of the construction industry and business combined have allowed him to develop and implement litigation strategies that continuously deliver results aligned with his clients’ goals.

Prior to joining HBS, Shanter represented contractors and developers in complex construction defect litigation, including large multi-family and class action construction defect cases at a boutique law firm in Charleston. He also routinely represented other construction clients in premises liability, personal injury, and mechanic’s lien cases.
