Biography

Savannah Liner Avera is an Associate in our Atlanta office, and she protects the rights of clients in health care and cyberspace. She handles medical malpractice high-stakes litigation and government liability. She represents providers including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and sub-acute facilities in a wide range of liability claims and novel COVID-19 litigation.

On the cutting edge of AI Intellectual Property Issues, she specializes in the licensure of generative artificial intelligence outputs in business applications.

As a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity team, she handles data and artificial intelligence governance issues for international and U.S.-based clients. With a background in international policy, she advises clients on the implications of international personal data policy compliance, cross-border data transfers, data breach response, and cyber policy coverage.
