HBS Reflects on the Loss of Joseph F. Herbert, III

Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of our dear friend and colleague Joseph F. Herbert, III, a Partner in our Red Bank, New Jersey, office who passed away suddenly on November 13.

Joe was Co-Chair of our Construction practice group and was tireless in helping clients resolve complex litigation in both federal and state courts so that their businesses could thrive. He had deep, personal relationships with clients all over the country and was consistently recognized for the quality of his work, being recognized most recently on the 2024 list of The Best Lawyers in America® by Best Lawyers®.

Joe’s son Peter was the light of his life, and we are sending our deepest sympathy and support to his family, friends, and loved ones. We are grateful to have been a part of Joe’s life and for his contributions to our firm.
