The Atlanta Office of Hall Booth Smith (HBS) is excited to welcome five new associates to our growing office. Henry Fletcher, Joel M. “Jack” Grist, Ashley Hamilton, Henry O. Moore, and Hailey T. Morton all joined our office this fall.

About the Attorneys

Henry Fletcher

Henry Fletcher focuses his practice on health care and aging services matters. Formerly a summer associate with HBS, Henry also externed at the United States Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the General Counsel, and was a litigation and regulatory legal extern at The Coca-Cola Company. He also gained valuable experience interning at Ernst & Young, LLP in the forensic & integrity services practice.

Joel M. “Jack” Grist

Joel M. “Jack” Grist practices in a variety of areas, including construction, general liability, premises liability, products liability, transportation, and insurance coverage. Prior to joining HBS, Jack gained valuable experience serving as a law clerk in the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office, where he collaborated with lead attorneys to formulate trial strategies and provided feedback throughout proceedings. During law school, he also clerked at a law firm in Macon, Georgia, representing a variety of clients, including motor carriers, insurance companies, and medical professionals. Additionally, he had the honor of serving as a graduate research assistant for two different Deans of Georgia State University College of Law.

Ashley Hamilton

Ashley Hamilton practices in general liability, premises liability, and transportation matters at HBS. Formerly a summer associate with HBS, Ashley also gained experience interning with several other local firms. Prior to law school, she worked in the mass torts department with a focus on products liability litigation at a plaintiff’s firm in Athens.

Henry O. Moore

Henry Moore focuses his practice on medical malpractice. Prior to joining HBS, Henry practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Sandy Springs, where he handled commercial litigation and insurance defense matters. During his time there he assisted with defending a broad spectrum of clients in areas such as multi-family property ownership and tenant litigation, property management disputes, manufacturing, employment, supplier/distributor agreements, and other general contract disputes. Henry also collaborated with major insurance companies to defend their insured transportation companies against personal injury claims resulting from motor vehicle accidents.

Hailey T. Morton

Hailey Morton focuses her practice on aging services and health care matters. She represents a wide range of providers including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and personal care homes in all phases of litigation. Prior to joining HBS, Hailey was a staff attorney for the Honorable Jeffery O. Monroe in the Macon Judicial Circuit, Bibb County Superior Court and Crawford County Superior Court.
