Atlanta Attorney Parkerson Knighted for Service to the Hungarian Government

The President of Hungary has awarded HBS attorney John Parkerson the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit, which is the 2nd highest civilian award in Hungary. The Ambassador of Hungary to the United States, H.E. Dr. László Szabó, presented the award to Parkerson In a March 29 ceremony at HBS’ offices. Also presenting was the Hungarian Embassy’s Economic and Trade Attaché, Dorottya Mártonffi-Nagy. Parkerson serves both as Honorary Consul General of Hungary and Foreign Economic Counselor of Hungary, promoting bi-lateral business relations between the southeastern United States and the country of Hungary. Parkerson’s law practice at HBS focuses on international business and trade. In December 2017, HBS co-sponsored a trade mission to Hungary lead by Parkerson that targeted businesses primarily in the IT sectors.
