HBS Atlanta Welcomes Chandler, Pittman, Thomas, & Falcon
Hall Booth Smith continues to expand its Atlanta location as it welcomes Associates Jasmine Chandler, S. Meghan Pittman, Taylor Thomas, and Mia Falcon.
Jasmine Chandler
Jasmine Chandler focuses her practice on aging services, business litigation, corporate and partnership, education, health care, and medical malpractice matters. Prior to joining HBS, she was a criminal defense attorney where she managed hundreds of criminal cases for indigent clients at all stages of legal proceedings. She is also NCOIC of Airman and Family Readiness with the U.S. Air Force Reserves where she is responsible for program compliance, deployment assistance, EEOC guidelines, and the development of readiness services for members and families.
Jasmine earned her Juris Doctor at Barry University, where she earned the Commercial Law Book Award. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
S. Meghan Pittman
Meghan Pittman focuses her practice on batch claims and class actions, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, and professional malpractice and ethics matters. Prior to joining HBS, she was an Associate at a civil defense firm where she practiced in education law, premises liability, insurance defense, judicial in-rem tax foreclosure, and general litigation.
She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University. During her time at Mercer, Meghan was an active member of the Mercer Law Review and the Mercer Advocacy Council, competing in both moot court and mock trial. Through this involvement, she was named Region Six Champion of the National Trial Competition. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor, Meghan was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a distinction reserved for the top ten advocates at each law school who exemplified excellent oral advocacy and brief writing skills. Meghan also earned her Bachelor of Science from Georgia College & State University.
Taylor Thomas
Taylor Thomas is an Associate in our Atlanta office where she focuses her practice in business transactions and labor and employment matters. Prior to joining HBS, she worked as a staff attorney for the United State Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She also previously worked as an associate at a local full-service defense firm where she represented financial institutions, funds, sponsors, and issuers in syndicated acquisition financings and asset-based lending.
Taylor earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Georgia State University and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
Mia Falcon
Mia Falcon is an Associate in our Atlanta office where she focuses her practice in education matters. Prior to joining HBS, she worked as an Associate at a local family law firm. She also interned for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, where she was a part of the Disability Integration Project. Mia earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia.
