S. Meghan Pittman
Biography
Meghan Pittman is an Associate in our Atlanta office and focuses her practice on batch claims and class actions, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, negligent security, and professional malpractice and ethics matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Meghan was an Associate at a civil defense firm where she practiced in education law, premises liability, insurance defense, judicial in-rem tax foreclosure, and general litigation. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University. During her time at Mercer, Meghan was an active member of the Mercer Law Review and the Mercer Advocacy Council, competing in both moot court and mock trial. Through this involvement, she was named Region Six Champion of the National Trial Competition. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor, Meghan was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a distinction reserved for the top ten advocates at each law school who exemplified excellent oral advocacy and brief writing skills. Meghan also earned her Bachelor of Science from Georgia College & State University.
