Hall Booth Smith Names 12 New Partners
Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce the election of 12 attorneys to the firm’s partnership. The newly elected Partners represent a diverse range of practice areas and reflect the continued growth, depth of talent and strength of the firm.

Joining the firm’s partnership are Amber Crawford, Amy Cowan, Rebekah Ditto, Michael Dial, Sheila Kazemian, Nick Kinsley, Rodrigo Lugo, Andrew Murdison, Rebecca Nicole, Boone Tarlton, Allison Thompson and Britton White
Amber is in the firm’s Columbus, GA office where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probates, guardianships and conservatorships, business transactions, and commercial real estate matters. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Alabama.
Before joining Hall Booth Smith, she spent several years at a firm in Newnan, Georgia, where she specialized in probates and estate planning. She also represented creditors’ rights in Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, handled contract negotiations, closed commercial and residential real estate transactions, and litigated civil and transactional matters.
Amber earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, at Columbus State University.
Amy is in the Athens, GA office and practices primarily in the area of governmental liability, with a focus on cases involving land use, zoning, constitutional law, environmental law, and eminent domain. She has significant trial experience. She also maintains an appellate practice and has argued before both the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
In addition to representing government clients in litigation, Amy provides general counsel to cities and counties, advising on a wide range of legal and policy issues. Outside of her litigation and advisory practice, Amy serves as an Associate Judge of the Walton County Magistrate Court.
Rebekah is in the Tifton, GA office and her practice focuses on government liability, general liability, business development, and planning. She is known for her strategic, solutions‑focused mindset and her ability to bring direction to even the most complex legal or operational challenges.
Rebekah has successfully argued before both the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. She represents and defends insurers and their insureds in litigation arising out of transportation, manufacturing, distribution, retail, premises, and other types of liability claims. She advises numerous South Georgia counties on matters involving open government, employment and personnel issues, contracts, ordinances, and statutory compliance.
Rebekah earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School and her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Georgia.
Mike is in the Oklahoma City office where he focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense, health care, aging services, transportation, and general liability.
Before joining HBS, Mike was an attorney at other firms in Oklahoma and Texas where he specialized in personal injury, wrongful death, and underinsured/uninsured motorist cases. He also has more than a decade of experience working in health care as a radiologic technologist and understands the pressures and complexities that health care providers face.
Mike earned a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma City University. He also completed a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership at the University of Central Oklahoma and an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a radiologic technologist at Oklahoma State University at Oklahoma City.
Sheila is in the Atlanta office and focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense and national trial counsel matters. She defends healthcare institutions, hospitals, and individual healthcare providers throughout Georgia, bringing a strategic, detail-oriented approach to every stage of litigation. An experienced litigator, Sheila has successfully second-chaired multiple jury trials to verdict and has represented clients before the Georgia Court of Appeals. She remains committed to providing skilled advocacy on behalf of Georgia’s healthcare practitioners in complex, high-stakes litigation.
Sheila earned both her Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Health Administration from Georgia State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Georgia State University, graduating with honors.
Nick focuses his Tifton, Georgia, practice on governmental liability and serves as an Assistant County Attorney for multiple counties throughout South Georgia. He has extensive experience representing counties, cities, and other governmental entities in a wide range of legal matters and defending them against claims in both state and federal courts.
Nick also represents governmental entities across Georgia in litigation, including claims brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Through this work, he has developed significant experience navigating Georgia’s state and federal court systems, as well as the complex statutory and common-law immunities available to governmental entities and their officers and employees.
Nick earned both his undergraduate and law degrees, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and was elected to membership in the Georgia Chapter of the Order of the Coif.
Rodrigo is in the firm’s Denver office and specializes in medical malpractice defense matters. He regularly represents physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare providers and facilities in civil litigation and administrative proceedings with state regulatory and licensing boards. While practicing primarily in Colorado, Rodrigo frequently assists members of the firm’s national trial team and has provided crucial support to cases in multiple jurisdictions across the country, including but not limited to Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Illinois, Connecticut, Ohio, and more.
Rodrigo earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, graduating with top honors and several recognitions at both institutions.
Andrew is located in our Augusta, GA office where his practice focuses on business litigation, general liability, and medical malpractice matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Andrew had his own firm where his practice consisted of civil litigation, business advising and corporate work, and family law.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum honoribus, in Classics and Philosophy from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is barred in both Georgia and South Carolina.
Rebecca is in the Denver office where she focuses her litigation practice on medical negligence and construction defects claims. With over 15 years of experience as a defense attorney, she has represented providers, hospitals, insurers and pharmaceutical companies in high-stakes litigation and FDA regulatory compliance cases. Early in her career, she gained extensive experience supporting life sciences clients in products liability actions synthesizing clinical trial data and adverse event warnings and preparing cardiology and nephrology experts across the country. Rebecca is also skilled at handling complex commercial cases involving employment, insurance and intellectual property disputes. She is licensed in Colorado and Arizona.
Rebecca earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Arizona and holds a Certificate of International Studies from Tulane University after studying in Paris, France.
Boone is in our Asheville, NC office and specializes in business litigation, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, appellate, and premises liability matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Boone worked for a civil litigation firm where he gained experience managing insurance defense, automotive, premises liability, professional liability, and general liability matters.
Boone earned his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Environmental Geoscience from Texas A&M University.
Allison is in the firm’s Charleston, SC office with more than 25 years of experience advising and representing clients in insurance coverage, construction, professional liability, and regulatory matters. Combining her litigation and coverage experience with a practical understanding of insurance, construction, and regulatory issues, she takes a strategic and practical approach to complex disputes and guides clients through all stages of litigation.
Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, Allison earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the College of Charleston.
Britton is in our Athens, GA office where he concentrates his practice on general liability, transportation, and premises liability defense. With nearly two decades of experience, Britton brings seasoned litigation insight to clients navigating complex civil matters.
He has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal, including handling motions hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials in state and federal courts across Georgia.
Britton earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Emmanuel University in 2002.
