Allen Orr is an Associate in the Athens office of Hall Booth Smith, and specializes in medical malpractice, professional negligence, general liability and appellate matters. He primarily represents hospitals, nurses, and physicians in all aspects of medical malpractice litigation.
Earlier in his career, he practiced at firms in Athens and Macon, where he represented corporate and individual clients in business disputes, estate litigation, and commercial loan workouts. He is also experienced at automobile and premises liability insurance defense, and has worked on securing federal and state historic tax credits for local non-profits.
Allen earned a Juris Doctor from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as the managing editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, specializing in Public Relations, as well as a minor in Philosophy from the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude.
He and his wife Mary Ann and their daughters Jane and Kathleen live in Madison, Georgia, where he enjoys racquetball, tennis, golf and following college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.
