Austin L. Hord
Biography
Austin Hord is an Associate in our Memphis office, focusing on general liability, medical malpractice, products liability, and premises liability matters. Previously a summer associate with HBS, he also externed for the Honorable John T. Fowlkes, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
Austin earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Memphis, where he was an articles editor for the University of Memphis Law Review and was awarded the McClurg Best Note Award. He was also a brief writer for the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Travel Team and the student leader of the ambassador program. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Boston College with minors in Economics and Philosophy.
