Brenden P. Dougherty is an Associate in our Atlanta office, and his practice is focused on transportation, insurance coverage and general liability.

Before joining HBS in 2018, he was an assistant district attorney in the office of the Fulton County District Attorney, where he worked to advance the goals of prosecuting repeat offenders, closing drug houses and reducing gang activity across more than 200 felony cases.

Earlier in his career, Brenden was an assistant solicitor in the office of the Hall County Solicitor-General, where he handled misdemeanors in State Court and traffic cases. He was also a legal apprentice in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, and clerked at a law firm in Washington, D.C. where he assisted on insurance coverage and general liability matters.

Brenden holds a Juris Doctorate from the William & Mary Law School, where he served on the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and communications, summa cum laude, from Boston College.
