Darin Jensen is Of Counsel in our office in Denver.   Since beginning his law career in 2005, Darin has dedicated his entire legal career exclusively to the practice of domestic relations and family law throughout Colorado.

Darin represents and advises clients on the full range of domestic relations and family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, and post-decree modifications.   He also handles grandparent and non-parent rights, interstate and international domestic issues, protection orders, enforcement actions, paternity disputes, marital and cohabitation agreements, and adoptions.

Every case is unique, and Darin’s practice is tailored to each client’s specific needs, whether the matter requires court involvement and litigation or allows for alternative dispute resolution approaches such as settlement negotiation, mediation, or collaborative law.

Darin began his legal career as a judicial law clerk.  Working closely with judges, he gained an understanding of family law matters from the unique perspective of the court, and these practical insights are imbedded in Darin’s advice and in his preparation and approach to litigation.

Passionate about pro bono work and providing access to the legal system for the underserved and marginalized in the community, Darin serves as a volunteer attorney at the More Life Center pro bono clinic at Colorado Community Church sponsored by the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic.

Darin earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.   Prior to law school, he was a Graduate Sociology Teaching Fellow at the University of Oklahoma, allowing him to bring this teaching background to his practice for communicating complex information to his clients and to the courts. Darin completed a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in sociology and history at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

EXPERIENCE

Darin has nearly two decades of experience in domestic relations and family law, and his entire legal career has been dedicated to this practice area. He represents clients of all backgrounds and circumstances who are facing family law issues, and he is honored to be trusted with the most important aspects of his clients’ lives.
