Christine A. Craigmile
Biography
Christine A. Craigmile is a Partner in our office in Denver, and she has more than 30 years of experience as a litigator and trial attorney with numerous precedent cases to her credit.
Chris specializes in high-exposure medical malpractice and professional malpractice lawsuits including birth injury, misdiagnosis or failure to diagnose, surgical error, wrong site surgery, anesthesia error, infection, uninformed consent, and negligence.
She defends hospitals, physician groups, nurses, aging services and long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, urgent care providers, administrators, and other health care professionals in a wide range of litigation as well as licensing, credentialing, and internal investigations.
In addition to her work in malpractice, Chris also counsels clients on general liability and premises liability claims such as slip and fall injuries, equipment failure, toxic chemical exposure, visitor injuries, and injuries related to alleged failure to clean, sterilize, or maintain instruments and equipment. She often litigates in state and federal court and has a robust mediation and arbitration practice to resolve matters outside of the courtroom.
Hospitals and other health care facilities rely on Chris for risk management training and counsel, assistance with regulatory and administrative matters, and a range of other day-to-day business and legal issues.
Chris earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colorado State University.
