Emily E. Roberts is an Associate in our office in Miami. She defends clients in a wide range of medical malpractice litigation matters.
Before joining Hall Booth Smith in 2020, Emily interned for Chief Justice Richard Suarez at Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal, where she researched and analyzed records on appeal, appellate briefs and relevant law, and assisted in drafting recommendations, memoranda and judicial opinions. Emily also interned for the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where she researched and drafted opinions ahead of publication by the judge.
Emily earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law, which she attended on a full Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While at the University of Miami School of Law she served as a member of the Race and Social Justice Law Review. Emily completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in editing, writing and media with a minor in sociology at Florida State University, where she was named to the President’s list every semester and studied abroad in Spain.
