Hannah Schuh
Biography
Hannah Schuh is an associate in the New York City office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. Their practice focuses on aging services, general liability, insurance coverage, and medical malpractice matters.
Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Hannah gained valuable experience across multiple areas of law through judicial externships with both the Washington State Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. They worked closely with judges and clerks to research complex legal issues, draft and edit judicial opinions, and manage high-volume caseloads. Hannah’s experience in both state and federal courts fostered their love for deep legal research, writing, and analysis. Hannah also served as a summer law clerk with Communities for a Better Environment in Los Angeles, where they supported environmental justice initiatives through legislative advocacy and legal research.
Earlier in their career, Hannah worked with Hall Booth Smith as a records clerk in the New York City office, assisting in long-term care litigation matters and supporting attorneys in preparing case materials and client correspondence.
Hannah earned their Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where they served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Law Review, captain of the National Environmental Moot Court Team, and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. They earned their Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Cultures, magna cum laude, from Pace University.
