Martha S. Bradley is an Associate in our office in Asheville, North Carolina, and she counsels clients on a wide range of business litigation and transactions, real estate disputes and construction matters.

She also defends clients in medical malpractice and dental claims, as well as professional malpractice and ethics cases, environmental and land use matters, insurance coverage, and the full spectrum of liability lawsuits including products liability, premises liability and governmental liability. Martha has an active arbitration and mediation practice, and she represents clients all the way through appeal.

Earlier in her career, Martha was the local managing attorney for another firm in Asheville, where she served as counsel-of-record for business and real estate litigation at all stages. She also supervised attorneys and staff, recruited and trained new talent, and helped establish and enforce the firm’s financial policies. Prior to that role, Martha was an attorney at a firm in Selma, North Carolina, and she served as a law clerk to Judge Ann Marie Calabria of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Martha earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where she made the Top 16 in the Richard A. Lord Intramural Moot Court Competition and was the winner of the Intramural Negotiations Competition. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Martha serves on the Board of Governors for the North Carolina Bar Association. She also sits on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division, and serves on the Convention Planning Advisory Committee.

She is deeply involved in the local community, and serves on the Town of Waynesville Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. She is also an active member of Grace Church in the Mountains in Waynesville.

Martha is a member of the Rotary Club of Waynesville-Sunrise, and in 2019 completed a term as President of the organization. Martha is also a member of Young Professionals of Asheville, the Henry C. Martin Inns of Court, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Haywood Habitat for Humanity and the Haywood Chamber of Commerce.
