Michael J. Robson

Michael Robson is an associate in the Jacksonville office, where he focuses his practice on general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters. 

Michael has experience representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, handling cases from inception through trial. His practice includes extensive motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment, conducting and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts. He also works closely with clients to develop effective litigation strategies, negotiate settlements, and provide practical legal solutions tailored to their needs. 

Since joining Hall Booth Smith, Michael has gained substantial experience managing complex litigation matters, conducting legal research and analysis, and coordinating with legal teams throughout the litigation process. He previously served as a summer associate in the firm’s Jacksonville office, where he assisted with litigation preparation, medical record analysis, legal research, and deposition proceedings. 

During law school, Michael served as a student advocate with the University of Georgia Veterans Legal Clinic, where he researched veterans’ health care issues, assisted with claims for increased benefits, and collaborated with attorneys to develop case strategies. He also completed a legal internship with Kennesaw State University, where he researched First Amendment and landlord-tenant law, assisted with university policy development, and gained experience reviewing contractual and legal issues affecting educational institutions. 

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as senior online editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and participated in moot court as an advocate. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Georgia Southern University.
