With more than 20 years of experience as a strategic marketing professional in the legal, corporate and philanthropic sectors, Nina develops, directs, and implements all efforts to increase the visibility and international brand identity of HBS, its practicing attorneys and staff, and legal and business initiatives. She provides invaluable leadership in the firm’s strategic planning, business development, media relations, marketing, and advertising efforts to expand HBS’ public profile, to enhance existing client relations and services, and to forge new client relationships and business opportunities.

Nina joined HBS in 2008. Her expertise includes domestic and international business relations, and she has continually proven herself to be a creative initiator of change. She provides insightful counsel and targeted marketing strategies in the vital areas of client development, business planning, budgeting, lateral integration, knowledge management, positioning and branding, and strategic communications. Nina directs a team of marketing professionals in high-level public relations and marketing campaigns including media engagement, development and distribution of multimedia collateral, and corporate and client communications. She plans and manages nationwide corporate events and webinars for the firm, ensuring that every project has strategic value and a solid return on investment.

As Chief Marketing Officer Nina is key to the firm’s success. She researches the competition, developing targeted strategies to respond to maintain a superior position with regard to the marketplace. She also identifies trends in the legal community, devising and implementing strategies to allow HBS to maximize its business potential and high profile.

Nina drives targeted business development initiatives, including creating industry practice group strategies and complex plans. She directs and participates in drafting Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses to secure new business and both conceives and writes custom client pitches and other high-level firm presentations. Nina also lends her marketing and business development expertise to coach and support HBS partners as they plan presentations for key clients or when meeting with strategic prospects.

A native of the country of Georgia, Nina was educated primarily in the United States and is fluent in five languages. Because of her strong personal connection to the people and businesses in her home country, she co-founded Georgia to Georgia Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting relationships between the state of Georgia and the country of Georgia. She has spearheaded efforts to establish and grow cultural and business relations between Atlanta and Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital and Atlanta’s sister city, through the Atlanta Tbilisi Sister City Committee where she is a co-chair. Nina serves on several firm committees including the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Management Committees.
