A native of Atlanta, Pamela Coleman is a Senior Associate with HBS whose practice areas include complex business litigation, business transactions, corporate and partnership, international business, real estate, construction, and wills/probate.

Ms. Coleman has over 15 years’ experience representing businesses in corporate litigation, transactional matters, and construction litigation, managing her own firm for several years before joining HBS.  With a background in business, Ms. Coleman understands business needs and concerns.  She successfully represents large and small companies in contractual disputes and complex commercial litigation, at trial and appellate levels.  She assists international and domestic companies in evaluating and/or negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including finance, asset purchase, vendor, supply, construction, and professional services agreements, complex commercial leases, and complex franchise agreements.  She also advises and assists domestic companies from the ground-up, with the critical aspects of formation, operation, and management.

Ms. Coleman attended Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law, as a recipient of the Walter F. George Foundation Scholarship.  She served on and was published in Mercer Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board, and was awarded Moot Court Best Oralist at a national competition.  She received the CALI Award for highest achievement in Persuasive Writing and Oral Advocacy and the Swift, Currie, McGhee & Heirs’ Guerry R. Moore Insurance Award.  Ms. Coleman also studied at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (University of Florence) in Florence, Italy, thus beginning her interest in international law.  She later coordinated and chaired an International Trade and Business Law CLE.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern University, earning academic honors.  She has two sons who have provided over three years of volunteer services teaching English in northern Thailand.
