Patrick N. Millsaps
Biography
Patrick N. Millsaps is Of Counsel in the Alpharetta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C., where he focuses his practice on business litigation, business transactions, general liability, premises liability, and government affairs.
Patrick brings more than 25 years of legal experience, having served as lead counsel in high-stakes litigation involving catastrophic injury, complex corporate disputes, and real estate matters. He has represented major corporations, governmental agencies, and emerging businesses across Georgia and beyond. After previously practicing at Hall Booth Smith from 2011 to 2014, Patrick has rejoined the firm as Of Counsel, bringing valuable experience that enhances our strategic litigation and advisory capabilities.
Before joining HBS, Patrick was an Assistant District Attorney in the Dougherty Judicial Circuit, where he prosecuted major felony cases. Earlier in his career, he served as Special Counsel to the Governor of Georgia and as Solicitor of the Juvenile Courts of Mitchell and Baker Counties.
Patrick has also held leadership roles outside of law, including founding and leading two media and entertainment companies, producing nationally recognized films, and developing one of the largest studio and mixed-use real estate projects in the Southeast. His experience in political strategy, government relations, and crisis management has positioned him as a trusted advisor in both public and private sectors.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and holds a B.A., cum laude, in Psychology from Samford University.
