Biography

Samuel Wilson is an attorney in the Little Rock office, where he represents clients in a broad range of matters involving agribusiness and food law, business litigation, environmental and toxic tort claims, intellectual property disputes, premises liability, products liability, and transportation.

Prior to joining the firm, Samuel defended corporations in high-stakes products liability and toxic tort litigation, including agricultural and asbestos-related matters. He also represented local businesses in a variety of civil defense matters, gaining experience managing litigation strategy, drafting responsive pleadings, conducting discovery, and assisting with trial preparation.

Samuel’s background also includes experience in intellectual property and technology commercialization. While serving as an intellectual property analyst intern with University of Arkansas Technology Ventures, he conducted market and intellectual property research on emerging technologies, prepared reports and recommendations regarding IP protection, and worked with companies exploring intellectual property licensing opportunities. In addition, Samuel completed an externship with Walmart, where he assisted with intellectual property matters involving trademarks, patents, and product marketability assessments.

During law school, Samuel gained additional litigation and research experience through clerkships and summer associate positions, where he researched and drafted memoranda on a wide range of legal issues, including medical malpractice, intellectual property, and commercial litigation matters.

Samuel earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law. While in law school, he served as president of Outlaw Legal Society, vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Student Association, and a staff member of the Journal of Food Law & Policy. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas.
