Sydney Schorr
Biography
Sydney Schorr is an associate in our Columbus office, where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice and general liability.
Before joining Hall Booth Smith as an associate, Sydney served as a law clerk in the firm’s Columbus office. She also interned with the Honorable Stephen Hyles for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
During law school, Sydney participated in the Public Defender Externship where she worked in the Towaliga Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, serving Butts, Lamar, and Monroe County. There, she supported attorneys with court proceedings and assisted with trial preparation.
Sydney earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where she also received her Certificate in Advance Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. She was active in numerous organizations, including serving on the Student Bar Association Board of Governors for two years. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in political science with a minor in sociology from the University of Georgia.
