Tullio E. Iacono is a Partner with 25 years of legal experience, and he specializes in defending health care providers in complex medical malpractice litigation.

In addition to brain injury, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, Tullio represents emergency room physicians, urgent care practitioners and medical assistants on a wide range of high-exposure claims related to health care delivery. He has managed the defense a large volume of medical malpractice lawsuits, and has tried numerous cases at the state and federal levels.

Alongside litigation defense, Tullio also protects the rights of clients in hearings, investigations, disciplinary actions and licensing matters before the Florida Department of Health Board of Medicine and the Board of Dentistry.

Tullio is the son of an Italian immigrant father who came to America through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program and practiced medicine as an internist in New York, which gave him a lifelong appreciation for the demands and risks of the highly regulated medical profession. He strategically analyzes each matter to determine the most effective and efficient approach to resolving the case satisfactorily for the client and its insurance carriers.

Tullio earned a Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami Law School, where he was an Associate Editor on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. He received Book Awards in contracts, coastal law and professional responsibility. He completed Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.

Tullio has a quarter of a century of legal experience, and has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts. He concentrates his practice on defending physicians, urgent care providers, medical assistants and other health care professionals in complicated medical malpractice and other liability litigation, and has managed thousands of cases.
