Miami Office Of Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Maia Botero

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce that attorney Maia Botero has joined the firm’s Miami office as an associate, further strengthening its litigation capabilities across Florida.

Maia focuses her practice on medical malpractice, premises liability, personal injury, real estate, and workers’ compensation matters. Before joining HBS, she gained experience in both litigation and dispute resolution, serving in roles at a workers’ compensation firm and JAMS, where she coordinated mediations and arbitrations. During law school, Maia built a diverse background working with a real estate firm, a criminal defense practice, and as a certified legal intern in the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she handled felony cases and represented clients in early representation hearings. She first joined HBS as a summer associate, where she assisted in drafting legal documents and conducting research across multiple practice areas.

A Miami native and first-generation Latina attorney of Colombian heritage, Maia earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she concentrated in litigation and dispute resolution and led multiple student organizations, including the Yvette Ostolaza Mock Trial Team and the Fashion Law Society.
