William B. Jakes, IV
Biography
William “Bryan” Jakes, IV is an associate in the Nashville, Tennessee office of Hall Booth Smith, where he focuses his practice primarily on medical malpractice defense. He represents healthcare providers and institutions in complex, high-exposure matters, guiding clients through all phases of litigationwith a strategic and detail-oriented approach.
Bryan brings more than a decade of litigation experience throughout Tennessee, and also has experience in general liability, business litigation, and construction matters. His background includes representing clients in complex tort cases, premises liability claims, commercial disputes, construction litigation, and wrongful death actions. This breadth of experience enhances his ability to approach cases from multiple angles and deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Bryan has also successfully briefed and argued appeals before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, demonstrating strong written and oral advocacy skills. His appellate experience complements his trial work and provides added value in cases involving significant legal issues or post-trial proceedings.
