Brunswick Office Welcomes Ronnie Dickey and Caleb Martin

Two new associates, John R. “Ronnie” Dickey and Caleb Martin, have joined the Brunswick office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS). They will focus their practices on health care, medical malpractice, and related litigation matters, adding depth and new perspective to the firm’s team in coastal Georgia.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ronnie and Caleb to our growing Brunswick team,” said James B. Durham, managing partner of the Brunswick office. “Their diverse experiences and commitment to client service add tremendous value to our office and strengthen our ability to serve health care providers and institutions across the region.”

Ronnie Dickey brings a unique clinical perspective to his practice, drawing on his background as a registered nurse to inform his approach to complex health care and medical malpractice cases. Before joining HBS, he practiced at a Savannah firm handling medical malpractice and civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His experience includes managing depositions of medical experts and drafting appellate briefs for the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Ronnie earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where he was a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society and Phi Delta Phi Honors Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, from Georgia Southern University.

Caleb Martin focuses his practice on medical malpractice and correctional health care matters. Before joining HBS, he gained experience through public service and private practice, including work as a Congressional Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives and as a law intern with a Savannah-based firm handling business, health care, personal injury, and real estate matters. Earlier in his career, Caleb taught high school economics, and he worked in information technology at a regional hospital.

Caleb earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College, where he played on the football team.
