Christian Henry Joins Hall Booth Smith

ATHENS, GEORGIA – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is delighted to announce Christian G. Henry has joined its expanding Athens office.

Henry brings two decades of experience across a variety of government and business litigation issues, including government contracting and liability, general liability, insurance coverage, business litigation and construction. He has tried numerous jury trials, plus dozens of non-jury trials, in both the superior and state courts of Georgia.

He also has extensive appellate experience, having handled over 30 appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Henry has been the County Attorney for Georgia’s Morgan County for nearly 15 years, a role that entails advising 200 staff and county commissioners on all matters of county business, including local rules and regulations.

“Christian brings incredibly diverse experience and knowledge across business and government services to our Athens office, and is tremendous addition to the firm,” said Alex Booth, managing partner of Hall Booth Smith.

Henry is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and is secretary of the Local Government section. He has served as president of the County Attorneys section of the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia, and he is a member of the Georgia Municipal Association.

Henry holds a Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Georgia.
