David Sapp Joins Hall Booth Smith as Partner in Atlanta Office

ATLANTA – April 26, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to announce that seasoned civil defense attorney David Sapp has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as a partner.

Sapp brings more than three decades of experience handling a wide range of medical malpractice, insurance coverage and product liability cases. He often serves as lead counsel in defending physicians, nurses and other health care professionals in addition to health care facilities and home health care services in medical malpractice and personal injury claims, and sees cases through to summary judgment, mediation or trial.

He also has an extensive toxic tort practice, having worked as lead counsel in more than 35 cases involving claims of personal injury, cancer, fear of disease, asbestos, medical monitoring and screening, and property damage.

Additionally, Sapp represents corporations and individuals in employment disputes such as breach of non-compete agreements, and he advises insurance carriers and individuals on their rights and obligations under commercial general liability (CGL) insurance policies for property damage. He earned a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
