Hall Booth Smith Adds Lange As Of Counsel To Atlanta Office

ATLANTA – July 20, 2020 – Experienced litigator John D. Lange has joined Hall Booth Smith, P.C. as Of Counsel in its Atlanta headquarters office, bringing decades of expertise to benefit clients in health care and beyond.

John has more than 25 years of litigation experience and represents clients in aging services, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, and professional malpractice matters. He is also a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has vast experience mediating construction and general liability disputes across the Southeast.

Previously, John served as national discovery counsel for long-term health care and retail companies across 29 states requiring oversight of and careful coordination with local defense counsel. He also served as general counsel for one of the leading surplus lines insurance agencies in the Southeast and its affiliated claims management, premium finance and reinsurance companies.

While completing a J.D. at the University of Georgia, John served as Articles Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia with concentrations in risk management, finance and organizational consulting, and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia with a double major in English and History.
