Hall Booth Smith Adds New Attorneys in Atlanta and Charleston

ATLANTA & CHARLESTON — Hall Booth Smith, P.C. has added new attorneys at its offices in Atlanta and Charleston, South Carolina, as the firm continues to grow its litigation practice across the Southeast.

Thomas Wingfield, of counsel in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, is an insurance litigator and counselor specializing in disputes including builder’s risk policies, property policies, liability policies, directors and officers policies, errors and omissions policies, fine arts policies, life insurance policies and disability policies. He has litigated coverage claims involving third-party commercial liability policies and first-party commercial property policies. He has extensive experience investigating, advising on and litigating major property losses during construction or renovation. Mr. Wingfield also has litigated bad-faith claims arising from improper claims handling or denials. In 2006, 2007 and from 2009 through 2017 he was named a “Rising Star” in the legal profession by the editors of Atlanta Magazine and Super Lawyers. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in journalism and political science from New York University and received his Juris Doctor from The University of Virginia School of Law.

Elizabeth Fulton is an associate in the Charleston office of Hall Booth Smith with a practice focused on general liability, insurance coverage and professional negligence and medical malpractice. Prior to working for Hall Booth Smith, she was an associate attorney for a boutique law firm in Charleston and while in law school, she served the Charleston City Council as a legislative intern. Ms. Fulton currently volunteers with Loving America Street’s Laundry Matters Project, providing free laundry to residents in the Eastside neighborhood in downtown Charleston. She was selected as one of thirteen inaugural ambassadors to the South Carolina Bar Foundation and recently committed to serving another three-year term. In 2017, she was listed as a Legal Elite of the Lowcountry for insurance law by Charleston Business Magazine. Ms. Fulton received her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2012. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from East Carolina University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
