Hall Booth Smith Adds Three Associates to Growing Medical Malpractice, Insurance Groups

ATLANTA; CHARLESTON, S.C. & JACKSONVILLE, FL – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. has added three new associates at its offices in Atlanta; Charleston, South Carolina; and Jacksonville, Florida, as the firm continues to grow its litigation practice across the Southeast.

William “Bill” Daniel is an associate in our Atlanta office, with a growing practice focused on insurance coverage, insurance defense litigation and medical malpractice. He previously worked as an associate attorney for a medical malpractice litigation firm in Atlanta where he represented a major hospital system, including both medical and non-medical providers. A native of Columbia, S.C., Mr. Daniel received his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina, where he double majored in finance and marketing.

Ashley Fromm, an associate in our Jacksonville office, specializes in medical malpractice, health care, correctional health care and general liability. Earlier in her career, she worked in medical malpractice defense and complex business litigation for a Sarasota law firm, and she handled workers’ compensation and insurance defense for a firm based in St. Petersburg. She also handled appellate work. Fromm graduated with a Juris Doctor from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida after completing a Bachelor of Science in advertising with a minor in history. During this time, she was a summer law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission, and interned in the legal department of a major Florida land developer.

Jennie Smith is an associate in our Charleston office, and she specializes in medical malpractice and aging services. Earlier in her career, she represented clients in construction defect claims, personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Smith received a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law after completing a Master of Business Administration at The Citadel and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Miami University. She also holds a Paralegal Certificate in administrative and public law from The Philadelphia Institute.
