Hall Booth Smith Adds Two Attorneys to its Charlotte Office

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to its Charlotte office as the firm expands to better serve clients in the state of North Carolina. The Charlotte office specializes in a variety of practice areas including data privacy and security, technology, professional negligence/malpractice, long term care, employment, general liability, products liability, transportation, and construction.

Megan McGee Stacy is Of Counsel in our Charlotte Office where she focuses her practice on commercial contracts and business torts, construction, general liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, and transportation matters. She was named Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch, Commercial Litigation in 2021and 2022, North Carolina Super Lawyers ® Rising Star in 2021, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite in 2022.

Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Megan spent seven years as an associate with an AmLaw Top 200 focused on commercial litigation. She earned a J.D., summa cum laude, from the Charlotte School of Law where she graduated as valedictorian and a B.A. in History, with honors, from High Point University.

Laura Gregory is an Associate in our Charlotte office and focuses her practice on general liability, medical malpractice, labor and employment, and workers’ compensation matters. Outside of the office, Laura likes to serve her community by volunteering for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, the Junior League of Charlotte, and as a mentor for the Carolina Youth Coalition.

Earlier in her career, Laura worked for other Charlotte, NC law firms where she focused her practice on representing private and governmental employers in workers’ compensation matters and represented individuals in personal injury and general liability claims. Laura earned a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in Public and Internal Affairs from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
